Malus ‘Golden Hornet’ is a heavy-fruiting tree which produces clusters of distinctive golden yellow fruits, which hang on throughout autumn and into winter. The tree also produces a beautiful pink and white bloom during Spring making it a fantastic ornamental tree.

As with all crabapples, ‘Golden Hornet’ is very popular with bees and so are great for bringing in those pollinators to your garden, which is a blessing if you have other apple trees. The fruit are fantastic stewed and used as jams, as they have high levels of pectin, which helps with the setting of jam.
